Base plus commission pay

Who do you report to: The Sales Manager or General Manager

This position will collaborate with all departments in a team spirit with the primary goal of fulfilling our company Brand Position Statements, Mission and Vision in accordance with our Code of Values and be committed to achieving the sales and profitability objectives set each year.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Respond to and follow up on all inquiries from prospective customers
• Qualify all prospective customers
• Utilize DreamMaker 7-Step Sales System
• Attend all client meetings required to complete the sale
• Completion of the project estimate at company-determined GPM
• Collect and complete DreamMaker Design/Build Retainer
• Track all client information and lead follow-up by hand or software
• Take “Before” and “After” pictures as required
• Obtain bids from all trade contractors and suppliers to prepare the estimate
• Clear and detailed definition of scope of work to customer and staff through proposals
• Price all Change Orders when necessary and give to Lead Carpenter to have signed by customer and collect funds
• Assist the homeowner in all product selection
• Prepare and complete all contract documents
• Complete jobsite checklist
• Schedule Sales/Production hand-off (pre-construction)
• Schedule Pre-job walk thru with client and Lead Carpenter
• Meet with customer after project to present warranty packet and ask for critique on how project went ands referrals
• Ask for and obtain referrals
• Complete any thank-you letters and follow-up correspondence
• Follow the DreamMaker code of values

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or related field
• Or equivalent work experience, 2-5 years in related field and position

Professional Experience:

• Minimum of two years of sales experience in the construction industry
• Experience working with residential trade contractors (plumbing , electrical, HVAC, carpentry, countertops, drywall, tile and flooring)
• Understanding of construction basics
• Basic computer skills
• Design software experience
